GA Insurance Tanzania Limited is a \u00a0young and professionally run\u00a0 \u00a0General Insurance Company established in Tanzania providing all classes of short-term insurance covers. The company is part of a leading regional group in East Africa in the Insurance, Banking, and Finance sectors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Chief Operating Officer shall report to the CEO \u00a0of the Company and is responsible for overall operations of the company and support management of the company to achieve the strategic goals with the efficiency of operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in developing business strategies<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of strategic business objectives, strategies, and plans to enhance operational efficiency, growth, and profitability.<\/li>\n<li>Providing support and advice on strategic initiatives to the CEO and act as a \u00a0guide to the staff.<\/li>\n<li>Cultivating sound relationships with the regulator, local\/international business partners, and stakeholders, ensuring all statutory compliances.<\/li>\n<li>Supervision and Preparation of operations and statutory reports.<\/li>\n<li>Manage optimum utilization of resources to generate efficiencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Holder Specifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><em>Education\/Qualifications:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree preferably in a business-related field<\/li>\n<li>MBA- preferable.<\/li>\n<li>ACII\/AIII\/ FCII\/FIII or equivalent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Experience<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong>Over 15 years\u2019 experience essential, \u00a0of which at least 5 years \u00a0should be at senior management level in the insurance industry<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good knowledge of Reinsurance and all operations of an insurance company.<\/li>\n<li>Fully conversant and proficient in all classes of non-life insurance business<\/li>\n<li>Conversant with regulatory environment related to Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills with the ability to manage \u00a0 business relationships<\/li>\n<li>Training and development of staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Others<\/strong> :<\/p>\n<p>Efficient organizing abilities with an eye for detail and ability to handle multiple priorities with deadlines.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-8065","jobs","type-jobs","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v15.9 -
