Job Summary<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

To support the preparation of the company\u2019s compliance and monthly Management reports for management decision-making and regulatory compliance.<\/p>\n

Prepare Reinsurance reports.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Prepare and Evaluate Incurred but not reported (IBNR) Reports for each class of business<\/li>\n
  2. Prepare premium and claims trend analysis and exceptional reports<\/li>\n
  3. Analyze the claims outstanding report as required.<\/li>\n
  4. Prepare and provide data for external actuarial valuations and liaise with the external Actuary.<\/li>\n
  5. Prepare Monthly Management Accounts.<\/li>\n
  6. Prepare Monthly and quarterly regulatory and Risk based reports to the Insurance Regulatory Authority, The Uganda Insurers Association and Bank of Uganda.<\/li>\n
  7. Perform monthly ledger reconciliations of General ledger and the listing reports.<\/li>\n
  8. Support in the preparation of a detailed Annual budget that is aligned with the Strategy and its periodic performance analysis.<\/li>\n
  9. Analyse Reinsurance Reports and ensure timely reconciliation of balances.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    a). Review Reinsurance reports submitted by the Reinsurance department for consistency with other performance reports.<\/p>\n

    b). Review approved Reinsurance payment documents for consistency with underlying schedules and ensure their timely settlement.<\/p>\n

    c). Recognise Reinsurance transactions in the system prior to closure of the respective processing periods.<\/p>\n

      4. Membership of requisite any recognized Accountancy professional body<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and meet deadlines<\/li>\n
        2. Ability to deliver quality work on time and with minimal supervision.<\/li>\n
