Nairobi, Kenya – February 12, 2025 The GA Insurance Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee, led by ESG Chair Edith Wairimu and Chief Operating Officer Duncan Kamau, recently visited Osupuko Primary School to assess the progress of the 2024 tree-planting sustainability initiative.

The visit revealed encouraging signs of healthy tree growth, supported by the active involvement of the school community. Beyond monitoring progress, the engagement reaffirmed GA Insurance’s commitment to environmental sustainability and highlighted areas for continued support.

A key concern raised was the school’s urgent need for a borehole to address water shortages, critical for maintaining the trees and enabling food production for learners. GA Insurance is keen on preserving the environment and advancing sustainability issues, not only through community initiatives but also through innovative products such as EV Motor Cover, Samaki BIMA, and Drive Flex, which are designed with environmental friendliness in mind.
