Mr. Nayak brings with him over 38 years of distinguished leadership experience in the insurance industry, spanning India, Kenya, and Tanzania. His career reflects a strong record of enhancing profitability, strengthening operational governance, and excelling challenging market conditions. He has held senior leadership roles including CEO of Meticulous General Insurance (Tanzania), CEO of ARIS Insurance Brokers (Kenya), and CEO of Alliance Insurance (Tanzania), where he successfully drove market expansion, improved operational efficiency, and delivered sustainable underwriting profits. Earlier in his career, he held pivotal leadership positions at IFFCO Tokio General Insurance (India) and National Insurance Company Ltd (India), where he built strong retail and commercial portfolios and consistently achieved top national rankings.

Mr. Nayak brings a wealth of expertise across all facets of insurance leadership. He has demonstrated strategic leadership and full P&L management, consistently delivering sustainable growth while expanding market presence through robust distribution channels. His deep technical proficiency in underwriting and reinsurance has enabled him to set clear risk appetites and structure profitable programmes. Equally, he has driven operational excellence and digital transformation by streamlining controls, optimizing claims management, and enhancing service delivery. A proven mentor and team builder, Mr. Nayak has successfully galvanized high performing teams while maintaining strong relationships with regulators, partners, and industry stakeholders.
