Alan James Dodd

Mr. Dodd has a wealth of experience having served the banking industry in various executive capacities both here in Kenya, as well as Asia and the Middle East. The first 28 years of his career were spent with Standard Chartered Group, latterly in East Africa where he rose to the position of Executive Director responsible for Corporate and Service Quality. In 2006 he joined NIC Bank Kenya Ltd, which subsequently became to be known as NCBA, where he held the positions of Executive Director responsible for Corporate, Asset Finance, including Leasing, and Bancassurance until end of 2020. Following 43 years in the Banking industry Mr. Dodd was appointed as an Independent Non- Executive Director at I&M Bank, where he brings his significant knowledge and experience of the financial sector, governance protocols, risk management disciplines as well as customer service to the benefit of the bank.
